Khadi Dark Brown

With an exclusive, organic formula, Khadi Dark Brown is a rich mahogany with a very light red tint. First and foremost in the formula is Henna, an ages old hair and skin dyeing product. Used to etch intricate designs on hands and shade hair in glorious colours, it’s been popular around the world for centuries. Essentially red, when balanced with other colours, it can be adapted to achieve a wide variety of shades. Here, Indigo, Bhringraj and Neem darken to brown, with true depth of colour.

Full Ingredients

Indigofera Tinctoria (Indigo), Lawsonia Inermis (Henna), Emblica Officinalis (Amla), Eclipta Alba (Bhringraj), Azadirachta Indica (Neem).

Directions

Before applying to your whole head of hair, it’s recommended that you test a few strands, as diverse initial hair colours will show the dye differently. If your hair is light, either artificially or naturally, you might need to create a base coat before. Use Khadi Henna or Khadi Henna, Amla and Jatropha.

Preferably using a natural shampoo, as silicone can impact on colour retention, wash hair and towel dry. Leave it wrapped in a towel whilst you combine the powder with water to make a thick paste. Wear plastic gloves and, being careful to avoid as much skin as possible, spread onto your hair. Take your time and sure to cover all your hair evenly. Cover your hair with a shower cap, plastic wrap or a towel to keep it warm. Leave it to develop for between half an hour and two hours, then thoroughly rinse off.
